Debbie Weil is a corporate blogging and social media expert, online marketing consultant, speaker and author of The Corporate Blogging Book (Portfolio). She consults with large companies, CEOs and senior executives on how to create blogs that connect with customers and attract media attention.

I’m on the “Corporate Blogs” panel at the very cool mesh conference in Toronto. It’s moderated by Toronto-based entrepreneur and technology columnist Jen Evans. The other panelists are Tara Hunt of HorsePigCow (now with Riya.com) and Jeremy Wright, author of Blog Marketing. Steve Rubel is also speaking.
This is one of those un-panel panels where we’ve exchanged a couple of emails and have a rough agenda. Jen emailed us: “start the panel with an example of what you think is an excellent corporate blog, and why.” Hope we don’t all come up with the same example.

I’m thrilled to be a panelist at Beyond Blogging 2006, a (BIG) breakfast roundtable sponsored by Fleishman-Hillard and DC Communicator. Keynote speaker is Ed Keller, co-author of The Influentials. Other distinguished panelists include Pete Blackshaw, Yvonne DiVita and Todd Tweedy. The moderator is the inimitable Shel Holtz. Should be fun. Fleishman is expecting a crowd of 500+.
