Blogs 2.0: Bulldog Advanced PR Technology - Chicago

March 16, 2007
9:00 am

I'm speaking on Blogs 2.0 at Bulldog Reporter's Advanced PR Technology in Chicago. I spoke at a similar Bulldog Reporter PR briefing in New York City in November 2006 that was, honestly, one of the most substantive and provocative events on social media that I've attended. If you can get to either Chicago or Los Angeles I highly recommend this conference.

DATE: Friday March 16, 2007

TIME: This is a one-day event. Blogs 2.0 is the first session.

What’s your story? Workshop on content for corporate blogs - Melcrum / London

March 22, 2007
10:30 am

melcrum.jpgI was back in London to do a two-hour workshop for another Melcrum conference -  The Social Media Forum for Internal Communicators. This was a great conference with close to 200 attendees from Global 1000 brands, including BT, Microsoft, IBM, etc.

Read about Neville Hobson on Second Life; visiting with Edelman's European chief David Brain (and watch his 60-second video interview with me); Philippe Borremans on how IBM is using social media.

Write-up of Day 2 of the Social Media Forum on the Melcrum blog.

What's your story: getting the tone and content of blogs right

Whatever the purpose of a company blog, it's essential to choose the topic carefully and present content in a way that captures the attention of the target audience and keeps them coming back for more.
