melcrum.jpgI'm speaking at Melcrum's 2006 Strategic Communication Management Summit in London. Topic: The bigger picture: making blogs part of your strategy.

DATE: Wednesday Oct. 18th 2006

TIME: 4:30 - 5:20 PM following "Afternoon Tea" as it's billed in the program.

You can download a PDF of the agenda here.

I'm arriving a day early so I can attend Neville Hobson's pre-conference workshop on Oct. 17th:  How to use social media to create genuine employee engagement. I hear it's wildly popular and has already sold out.

UK_cover_TCBB.jpgI will be in London from Tuesday Oct. 17th through Wednesday Oct. 25th for Melcrum, for a presentation on Wednesday Oct. 25th for E-consultancy and to promote the UK edition of my book being published by Piatkus.

I plan to hop over to Paris for a couple of days to do a book event there. Stay tuned for details.

If you're in London or Paris, do drop me a note and we'll try to get together! Email me at wordbiz(at)gmail.com or use the Comment link below.

Hi Debbie

Maybe we can meet when you come to London.  I’m very interested in Internet Marketing, although Video Blogging has much more appeal than text blogging.  I wonder if this is included within your book?

You mentioned you need media contacts in London.  The best way of finding these is by Networking!  OK, you are in the States for the time being.  You can always Network Online :)

Check out this site -

If you join as a member (Guest membership is free, although I recommend becoming a PowerNetworker) then I can give you further advise on contacting the people you need in London.

Hope your time is spent productively here.
