Unfortunately, Communitelligence's conference has been postponed until October 2009.

As a speaker at Communitelligence's Rethinking Corporate Communications conference here in DC I've got one free ticket (value $900) to hand out. Leave a comment below and tell me why you should get it.

The central thesis of the conference is that today's difficult and unpredictable economy calls for a new approach in corporate communications.

Pretend you're writing a memo to the boss and you've got to sum up in a sentence or two what your organization should be doing differently when it comes to corporate and marketing communications. Be bold...

Three reasons why I should be your date to Rethinking Corporate Communications, in reverse David Letterman order:

3) Guilt. Before you made this post offering the ticket out…you sent me an email, offering ME the ticket.  I know I was SLOW responding.  I KNOW it’s a hot ticket.  But you moved on TOO fast.  You must feel a tad of guilt, no?

2) Thought. Here at DBC we are always thinking—and re-thinking—corporate comm.  If you invite me, I promise to come, and to add something thoughtful the the online and offline conversation.  I also promise to ask flattering questions, that start “Debbie, as the foremost expert on corporate blogging, what do you think….”

3) Style.  I have a dashing wardrobe and will make an enviable arm piece.

*Disclosure: DBC PR+New Media and Debbie Weil are business partners, and I thought I would disclose that, just how Brian Williams always does when the NBC Nightly News is doing yet another puff piece on their owners, GE.  However, unlike much of America, we are not owned by GE, at least not yet.  GE…call me.
