I'm delighted to announce that I'm teaming up with Compendium Blogware as a strategic advisor for 2010. I've know CEO Chris Baggott for years, since his email marketing days as co-founder of ExactTarget. Chris is a go-getter and a prolific writer and thinker whose style I admire. We'll be collaborating on a number of projects around the value of corporate blogging, from Webinars to white papers.

Chris is considered a marketing futurist (love that phrase) and a database marketing expert and was named one of the 100 Most Influential Marketers of 2008. Chris has been quoted in such publications as the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Inc. and ADWEEK. He is the co-founder and CEO of Compendium Blogware, a software-as-a-service blogging solution for businesses and organizations.

Chris is the author of Email Marketing by the Numbers and is one of the featured marketers in Online Marketing Heroes: Interviews with 25 Successful Online Marketing Gurus. He still maintains his email marketing blog.

Please note that my association with Compendium does not imply that this is the only corporate blogging platform I endorse.

About This Blog

I’ve been writing about corporate and CEO blogging and business use of social media since 2003. I also use this blog as a whiteboard to work out my thinking on other subjects, such as Government 2.0 and Publishing 2.0.  I welcome your Comments if they are on topic. I delete them if inappropriate or spammy.
