Eliza & Minor top Gawker’s Altarcations column
Posted in the Category of In the News
My younger daughter Amanda just called to point this out on Gawker.com. It's either horribly embarrassing... or funny (or both). Gawker calls this regular feature Altarcations. It's a way of scoring each Sunday's Wedding Announcements in The New York Times, based on pedigree (ivy league schools, degrees, professions, professions of parents (see below: "corporate blogging" doesn't get any points).
Oh what the heck... Both Eliza and Minor

Oh what the heck... Both Eliza and Minor work incredibly hard and I (as the MOTB, aka mother-of-the-bride) think they deserve their 17 points and the top spot today on Gawker!
Love this comment on the Gawker write-up...
